Stephen Ryan, attorney in the Russian matter for President Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen, said he and his client decided to release a public statement denying involvement with Russia after news of Cohen’s scheduled appearance before the Senate Intelligence Committee was leaked to the press. The appearance was canceled but Mr. Ryan said, “Mr. Cohen will continue to cooperate” with the investigation.
