ATLANTA (April 18, 2023) – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce Atlanta-based associate Sheldon Hughes has been recognized as a “Top 40 Under 40 in Georgia” by The National Black Lawyers.
Sheldon focuses his practice on corporate and transactional matters with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. During law school, Sheldon was a senior notes and comments editor for the Howard Law Journal and was the judicial law clerk for the Honorable Karla N. Smith of the Montgomery County Circuit Court. Sheldon was also selected from a group of the law school’s highest performing third-year students to serve as a Henry Ramsey Dean’s fellow.
The “Top 40 Under 40” recognition is given to African American lawyers with reputations for providing excellent legal representation in their respective practice areas.
