Amandeep Sidhu, as co-counsel for the Sikh Coalition, commented on new US Army rules making it easier for Sikh-Americans to seek permanent religious accommodations for their articles of faith that such articles “have always been consistent with the best American values, and we’re pleased that the burden no longer rests with Sikh soldiers to prove this through a lengthy administrative process.”
