Stephen Ryan said that a downward trend in award money shouldn’t discourage law firms from pursuing legal services contracts. “For those who think this is a viable source of clients and revenue, it is the same type of business as any other: It depends on relationships and delivery of a quality service,” Mr. Ryan said. “If you have a well-thought plan to deliver a service in your wheelhouse and do a good job, it can be a very interesting and rewarding client to represent.”
