Alysse McLoughlin was profiled as an “influential” and “highly seasoned” state and local tax attorney who rejoined McDermott in September after a previous 10-year stint at the Firm well as having worked as an attorney in the IRS chief counsel’s office, as state tax counsel at Lehman Brothers and state tax counsel for Barclays Capital. Partner Peter Faber called her “a tremendous asset” to the tax practice, partner Arthur Rosen expressed “total confidence in not only the quality of her work, but her efficiency,” while counsel Diann Smith said Ms. McLoughlin’s understanding of financial institution tax issues “cannot be underestimated.”
