Art DeCelle commented on the US Supreme Court’s decision to strike down Tennessee’s two-year residency requirement for obtaining a retail liquor license saying additional challenges could be coming in state’s with similar laws. “Today’s decision gives advocates of interstate competition a lot of ammunition to challenge discriminatory state laws in the future.”
