Overview
Cym Lowell was profiled as a writer of suspense novels. A Vietnam War veteran, Mr. Lowell published “Jaspar’s War,” which describes the wife of the secretary of the Treasury as she travels across the world to rescue her family after a mysterious plane crash. As for how much research the book took, Mr. Lowell observed, “I just smile and say, ‘None, because I’ve lived this,’” including visits to almost all the far-flung scenes in the book.
