Robin Greenhouse and Todd Welty were among more than 60 tax professionals who urged in a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee’s leaders that the Committee should promptly confirm Cono R. Namorato to be assistant attorney general for the Justice Department Tax Division. Both lawyers were noted as former chairs of ABA Taxation Section committees or subcommittees, and Ms. Greenhouse was noted as a former Department of Justice Tax Division trial attorney.
