McDermott litigators filed suit for Chile’s CCU and its owners the Luksic family in order to obtain five brands of beer and more than US $300 million for transferring to AB InBev CCU’s rights to the Budweiser brand in Argentina, where it had a license to market the beer until 2025. McDermott previously filed a similar lawsuit in the US for Constellation and secured a license in perpetuity for the Corona brand from AB InBev.
