McDermott was noted for the Firm’s participation in two major tax-focused deals: representing Coty Inc. in acquiring most of Procter & Gamble’s global beauty business for $12.5 billion, and advising JAB Holding Co. in the merger of coffee businesses D.E. Master Blenders 1753, of which JAB owns the majority, and Mondelez International.
