The End of the SGR May Be Near

Eric Zimmerman called it “the million dollar question” whether the Senate would approve legislation in the House of Representatives to replace Medicare’s sustainable growth rate (SGR) formula, but added that a big yes vote in the House could pressure the Senate to pass the bill before a two-week adjournment. “Much will depend on the strength of the House vote,” Mr. Zimmerman said. “If the House vote is strong, the momentum may persuade the Senate to act quickly and favorably.” Read the full article
