CHICAGO (June 9, 2015) – McDermott Partner Kristian Werling has been named to The M&A Advisor’s top 40 Under 40, recognizing emerging leaders in the Legal Advisory category.
Krist was chosen by an independent judging panel of distinguished business leaders for his outstanding work representing medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers and healthcare service providers in a wide variety of transactional matters, along with the concomitant with his practice in the contemporary landscape of healthcare and life sciences is a related depth of experience in representing private equity and venture capital investors.
Krist was recognized for his work representing medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers and healthcare service providers in a wide variety of M&A transactions as well as his related depth of experience in representing private equity and venture capital investors in these industries. During 2014 he represented MTS Health Partners in the acquisition of a controlling interest in Celerion, Inc., a global contract research organization, and Baxter with both its acquisition of development-stage gene therapy biotech, Chatham Therapeutics and its global license arrangement with Merrimack Pharmaceuticals.
He will receive his award at a black tie gala in Manhattan on June 29.
