McDermott, together with the Sikh Coalition and the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, has filed a new lawsuit against the Defense Department on behalf of three Sikh-American soldiers seeking to serve in the military while retaining their articles of faith. Previously the three organizations secured a temporary restraining order for a decorated Sikh-American soldier against additional non-standard, discriminatory testing. Read the full article.
