Todd Solomon said that companies now offering domestic partner health benefits may drop them, with same-sex marriage legally established. “Those companies may have been offering the benefit simply to level the playing field before same-sex partners were allowed to marry,” Mr. Solomon explained; but he added that taking away a benefit is never seen as a positive.
