Nicholas Alarif, while calling a Trump Administration proposal to double funding for the Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals “a step in the right direction,” added that it seemed to be the “same old, same old” like other proposals that Congress ignored. Mr. Alarif said the real issue is that reforms are needed to address why so many Medicare appeals are being filed.
