Diann Smith discussed the Uniform Law Commission’s efforts to revise the Uniform Unclaimed Property Act after more than a year of effort. “I think a lot of the focus over the past year and a half has been on the act’s language itself,” Ms. Smith said. “As that language is finalized, there is going to be a lot of emphasis on what is going to go into the reporter’s comments, and that is really at the very beginning stages.”
