Lisa Linsky moderated a panel discussion in California’s Cochella Valley regarding a documentary that show how the US government persecuted and discriminated against LGBT Americans in the 20th century. Ms. Linsky cited the “archive activism” of McDermott pro bono client The Mattachine Society for uncovering documents used in the film – and also used in an amicus brief submitted to the Supreme Court in support of same-sex marriage rights.
