Michael Morgan said that US companies in such business sectors as finance, insurance and healthcare are most at cyberattack risk because they hold large volumes of sensitive data, such as health or proprietary information. Other companies that are vulnerable due to their global reach or provision of critical infrastructure are, he added, “sophisticated about managing risk, but cybersecurity issues can present an ongoing and largely intractable challenge” to them.
