U.S. Supreme Court Won’t Hear Sprint New York Tax Case

Peter Faber, described as a “leading corporate tax attorney” opposed to using the False Claims Act in tax cases, said that the Supreme Court’s denial of a telecom company’s request to overturn a New York state decision in such a case has a limited significance because “the real action in this case is yet to come” at the federal trial court level.
