Todd Solomon said employers “seem to be wrestling with” whether to continue offering health benefits for unmarried same-sex partners now that the Supreme Court has upheld same-sex marriage rights nationwide. Although some employers have already announced they will eliminate benefits options for unmarried same-sex partners in the near future, there are arguments for keeping these available, Mr. Solomon noted.
