Ira Coleman spoke about balancing continuity and change as he became the Firm’s new Chair. His election process was “like a crash course in what the partnership believed and wanted, and it really showed me what the views of the partnership were, and that’s where you get the balance of change versus continuity,” Mr. Coleman said. “It was enriching, it was rewarding, it helped me realize the importance of keeping these conversations going, of asking the partnership, what do you want?”
