With Passage of the 21st Century Cures Act, Interoperability Moves to the Front Lines

Lisa Schmitz Mazur predicted that the Trump Administration will use authority under the new 21st Century Cures Act “to reduce requirements of the Meaningful Use and Advancing Care Information programs, electronic clinical quality measure reporting requirements and other federal requirements relating to HIT that are perceived to make providers less efficient without improving quality or reducing costs.”
