September 19, 2014 – The Women’s Bar Association of Illinois has named McDermott Will & Emery partner Jennifer Mikulina to its esteemed list of 2014 Top Women Lawyers in Leadership. She is one of only six Illinois lawyers awarded the prestigious honor this year.
The Top Women Lawyers in Leadership award recognizes elite women lawyers making major professional contributions through their service in a leadership role. Jennifer is recognized for her dedicated leadership within the firm, including her prior service as co-chairwoman of the Chicago office’s Pro Bono & Community Service Committee and her current role as co-chairwoman of the firm-wide Gender Diversity Committee.
Jennifer will be honored with the other recipients at a reception in Chicago on October 23.
Jennifer is a partner in the Firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group and head of its global trademark prosecution practice. She focuses her work on trademark and copyright counseling, prosecution, licensing and litigation. Jennifer is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), where she is active on the group’s Pro Bono Committee, as well as the Executives’ Club of Chicago. She is listed in the 2014 World Trademark Review 1000, was ranked as a top woman lawyer by Illinois SuperLawyers in 2013 and was recognized by Illinois SuperLawyers as a 2014 “Rising Star.” She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Girl Scout Council of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana, Lawyers for the Creative Arts, and Working in the Schools (WITS).
