Stephen Kranz was mentioned for his opposition to a 2015 Alabama Department of Revenue proposal that expanded the state’s tax definition of tangible personal property to include streaming audio, video and similar digital content. Negative comments from Mr. Kranz and other practitioners led the Department to drop the proposal.
