Lisa Kaderabek, in an extensive interview about her pro bono work for such organizations as The Women’s Treatment Center, said that upon getting a pro bono assignment, “I take entire ownership of the project and handle it just as I would tackle a project in my firm or personal life – I get educated … Once you take on pro bono work you need to spend just as much time on it as you do on your non-pro bono work.” Ms. Kaderabek added, “I thoroughly enjoy the work I do on a pro bono basis … The beauty of the pro bono projects is that you are helping people. The idea that what we are doing is touching human lives is very important to me.”
