Maximilian Baur counsels clients on all matters concerning labor and employment law, including litigation matters. Maximilian advises companies on negotiations with works councils, structuring service and termination agreements, and all employment-related questions in connection with M&A transactions and restructurings. He specializes in international human-resources matters, including advising companies and managers on employee secondments. Additionally, Maximilian advises companies on all aspects of work-related data privacy law. Maximilian also provides ongoing support to charitable organizations as part of the Firm’s pro bono work in the Munich office.
After attending the University of Passau, Maximilian completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Munich. Maximilian has written a number of articles on the topic of labor and employment law, and frequently contributes articles to reputable publications and McDermott’s own thought leadership.
