Brittany Bell counsels various healthcare entities including, health systems, healthcare technology companies, hospitals and private equity entities and their platform companies. Brittany works with these entities as they navigate transactional, regulatory and compliance issues. She is experienced in assisting clients across all aspects of portfolio company investing, helping them navigate the complexities of strategic mergers, restructurings, refinancing and exits. She also provides regulatory and compliance advice to healthcare providers in emerging areas, particularly focused on telehealth, digital health and privacy and security.
Prior to joining McDermott, Brittany served as an M&A associate at a New York-based law firm. While in law school, Brittany served as a Health Law Fellow and as a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. During this time, Brittany also held a legal internship with the New York State Attorney General, Health Care Bureau, where she helped analyze and prepare responses to investigations into health specific issues within the state.
