Blaine Adams focuses his practice on corporate and transactional matters, particularly bankruptcy and financial restructuring matters.
Blaine’s experience includes representing creditors’ committees by litigating valuation disputes, drafting pleadings and negotiating global settlements. Additionally, Blaine represents equity sponsors and lenders as well as facilitating section 363 asset sales. Blaine has distinct restructuring expereince in the oil and gas, health care, retail and restaurant industries. Prior to joining McDermott, Blaine’s experience included representing creditors’ committees with a focus toward maximizing creditor recoveries.

Represented general contractor by drafting summary judgment pleading in multibillion dollar litigation in Enterprise v. AFWUSA*
Represented creditors’ committee in In re Patriot National, Inc. by drafting pleadings on debtors’ insurance policies and negotiating global settlement, leading to successful emergence from chapter 11*
