Overview
Michael S. Burnett focuses his practice on regulatory and transactional matters in the energy industry.
While earning his law degree, Michael served as a legal intern at the California Department of Justice and as a research assistant at the UCLA Hugh & Hazel Darling Law Library. He was also a managing editor for the Journal of Environmental Law and Policy and a production editor for the Journal of Free Speech Law.
Before law school, Michael worked as a wastewater engineer. He also previously served as a legislative intern at the Indiana Senate, where he provided constituent services for Senators John Ruckelshaus and Blake Doriot and conducted research for the Senate Committee on Pensions and Labor.
