Adam Camiel counsels companies in the healthcare, life sciences and digital health industries on a variety of transactions. Leveraging his cross-functional background in the pharmaceutical industry, Adam helps healthcare and life sciences companies develop and execute winning business strategies and navigate the complex transactional landscape. He has a particular focus on licensing and collaborations, including addressing the business and intellectual property issues that can arise during the drug development and commercialization process.
While simultaneously attending both law school and business school, Adam also held cross-functional roles within several large pharmaceutical companies, with the majority of his experience centering in the oncology therapeutic space. During his years in-house, Adam spent time in various functions including strategy and operations, global marketing and finance. He also held the position of chief of staff.
Prior to joining McDermott, Adam served as an associate at a boutique life sciences law firm, focusing on commercial and antitrust litigation.
