Overview
Dante S. Pavan represents private and public companies, business owners, investors and other clients in a broad range of corporate and commercial law matters. He primarily represents various parties in bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings, especially complex chapter 11 cases.
Before joining McDermott, Dante served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Mary F. Walrath of the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. While earning his law degree, Dante was a judicial law extern for the Honorable Kent A. Jordan of the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and a judicial law intern for the Honorable Anne Hartnett of the Court of Common Pleas in and for Kent County, Delaware. He also completed the Honorable Thomas L. Ambro Fellowship at the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
While in law school, Dante served as the national vice president of the National Native American Law Students Association, editor-in-chief of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law, treasurer of the founding board for the Tax & Estates Society and as a research assistant for Dean Rodney Smolla.
