Overview
Joshua W. Eastby is an associate in McDermott’s Chicago office and focuses on antitrust regulatory and litigation matters. He defends clients in securing regulatory clearance of mergers and acquisitions and in securing favorable outcomes and efficiently managing e-discovery in complex antitrust litigation.
From 2017 to 2018, Josh served as a law clerk to the Hon. Charles F. Lettow of the US Court of Federal Claims. During law school, Josh was executive editor of the Chicago Journal of International Law. He also served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Jeffrey Cole of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and in college was an intern at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Springfield Field Office. His Comment, “The Law of Unintended Consequences: The 2015 EU Insolvency Regulation and Employee Claims in Cross-Border Insolvencies”, was selected for publication.
