Adriana Fortune* represents healthcare industry clients, with a particular emphasis on hospitals and health systems, on a wide range of regulatory and enforcement matters. Adriana provides counsel on Medicare and Medicaid compliance issues, including federal and state level reimbursement considerations. She has experience navigating Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Agency and Medicare Fraud Control Unit investigations, as well as investigations related to the Stark Law and the Anti-Kickback Statute. She also conducts regulatory due diligence for healthcare industry transactions, including physician practice group acquisitions.
During law school, Adriana served as a research editor for the Journal of International Law and the Journal of Law and Public Affairs. She also received a Wharton Certificate in Management, in addition to her law degree.
