Dr. Oliver K. Hahnelt, LLM is a partner in the Frankfurt office of McDermott Will & Emery Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater LLP who advises clients on all aspects of debt finance transactions both domestically and internationally. He focuses in particular on counseling financial institutions, private equity sponsors and other investors, credit/debt funds and corporate clients on acquisition finance (leveraged buyouts, including recapitalizations), corporate finance (corporate lending, including refinancings) and structured finance.
In addition to advising on transactions on a global scale, Oliver completed studies in Germany and the US, including the LL.M. program at Madison law school, Wisconsin and the Executive Education Program at Harvard Law School, Cambridge).
Prior to joining McDermott, Oliver worked for other leading international law firms with the same advisory focus.
