Jan Axel Jost focuses his practice on corporate restructuring and insolvency, national and international M&A and private equity transactions, joint ventures and on all aspects of general corporate law.

Prior to joining McDermott, Jan Axel gained experience working as an associate in two German law firms in Hamburg. During his legal traineeship, Jan Axel worked as a law clerk in the German Consulate General in Los Angeles, as well as in corporate departments in law firms in both Germany and the UK.
