Jonathon focuses his practice on private wealth matters. He assists clients with their estate planning including UK Wills, preparing LPAs, advising on proposed offshore trust structures, and UK tax residence and domicile. His work has a particular offshore focus, covering US and UK issues and remittance basis planning.

• Preparing UK Wills for HNW couples where one partner is tax resident in the UK and the other is tax resident in the US*
• Reviewing American living trusts for individuals planning to become UK resident to assess risks of undue UK tax exposure*
• Advising on a proposed offshore trust and company structure for a non-resident planning to commence UK residency*
• Drafting and advising on a UK Will for an English HNW individual with assets and family in France and assessing the relevant UK/French tax treaties*
