Jun Wei focuses his practice on intellectual property matters, including preparing and prosecuting patent applications in wide range of areas such as semiconductors, electronics, software, E-commerce and communications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Jun collaborates with domestic and overseas outside counsels regarding patent matters.
Jun has extensive Chinese patent practice experience. Jun used to be a Chinese Patent Examiner with the Chinese Patent Office (SIPO) and a Chinese Patent Agent with a prestigious law firm in Hong Kong. Jun represented many internationally famous companies for patent prosecution before the SIPO.
Previously, Jun was a software engineer. As a database developer, Jun developed and tested database products using tools such as Oracle, Informatica, SQL, PL/SQL and Java.
