Franziska Leubner focuses her practice on all legal aspects related to IT and data privacy as a member of McDermott’s German Telecom, Media and Technology (TMT) practice group in Munich. In addition to drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in the IT environment, such as software development and licensing, software- and platform-as-a-service (SaaS und PaaS), cloud computing, mobile apps, online shops, or website creation, Franziska in particular advises in the field of IT outsourcing. Here, Franziska advises clients both in large transactions and in complex litigation cases before ordinary courts and arbitration tribunals. As part of a team, Franziska worked to design downloadable master outsourcing services agreement (www.outsourcingmsa.com) for German law; a pioneering development facilitating company processes in a challenging and complex area of law.
Franziska also advises national and international companies on all data protection issues, in particular on employee data protection. Furthermore, she advises companies on all other individual and collective aspects of labor and employment law and represents them in court.
During her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Dresden Franziska worked for a local law firm in Dresden, and a reputable international law firm in Barcelona, Spain.
