Rachel M. Lewis focuses her practice on discovery issues in complex civil litigation.
Rachel has significant experience in matters relating to patent infringement, defense and prosecution in the pharmaceutical industry, Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), white-collar crime and securities litigation, contracts disputes, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Department of Justice (DOJ) investigations. With privacy and data becoming increasingly important to clients and their associates, Rachel ensures regulatory compliance concerning personally identifiable information (PII), protected health information (PHI), payment card industry (PCI), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) and Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH). Rachel provides guidance and counsel to lawyers and clients on all aspects of discovery, including information management, data preservation and collection, early case assessment, comprehensive managed review and production. She also maintains an active pro bono practice.
