Overview
Louie Gaudio represents private equity sponsors in forming, structuring and managing private equity funds and other investment vehicles. He advises buyers, sellers and management teams in connection with complex secondary transactions, including traditional portfolio sales and purchases of fund interests and stapled secondary transactions. Louie also provides strategic advice to private equity sponsors and institutional investors on operational, legal, regulatory, tax and commercial issues.
While in law school, Louie served as an intern at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and for US Magistrate Judge A. Kathleen Tomlinson of the Eastern District of New York. He also edited for the Fordham Journal of Corporate & Financial Law.
