Trade Remedies and Trade Policy

  • Represents the Government of Canada in the current countervailing duty and antidumping proceedings on softwood lumber from Canada. Representation includes: the current NAFTA proceedings appealing the Commerce Department and International Trade Commission investigation determinations; the WTO appeal of the Commerce Department determination; the Court of International Trade Appeal of the expedited review; and the first and second Commerce Department administrative reviews
  • Represented the Government of Mexico in the US countervailing duty investigation of certain fabricated structural steel from Mexico*
  • Represented the Government of Indonesia in the Court of International Trade appeals of Commerce Department’s countervailing and antidumping duty determinations on biodiesel; and represented the Government of Indonesia in the underlying investigations*
