Overview
Sylvia Petereit-Kemter focuses her practice on healthcare matters. She advises hospitals, nursing homes, medical centers and physicians comprehensively in regulatory issues, social insurance and administrative law.
Sylvia concentrates on licensing and other administrative procedures as well as on transactions, restructurings and cooperation between healthcare providers and payers. She supports pharmaceutical enterprises, manufacturers of medical devices and other healthcare companies, particularly in drafting of contract documents in the context of research, development, manufacturing and compliance matters.
As part of her legal clerkship (Referendariat), Sylvia worked for McDermott Will & Emery in Chicago, USA, as well as for the legal department of the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin. While earning her degree, she worked as a trainee in the legal department of the pharmaceutical company Sanofi-Aventis Deutschland GmbH.
