Philip Corser focuses his practice on global and UK corporate transactions. He has nearly 20 years’ experience acting on a wide range of complex public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity capital market transactions and solvent and insolvent restructurings. Philip provides comprehensive advice on private asset and share purchases, public takeovers, stock exchange listings, shareholders’ agreements, group reorganisations, securities regulations, listing, disclosure and reporting rules, corporate governance and company law.
Philip has a wealth of experience in a wide range of business areas, including in particular the healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, financial services and industrial sectors.

- Advised Akari Therapeutics, Plc on equity lines and registered and unregistered offerings of Nasdaq-listed ADRs and warrants and various UK corporate matters as an English Nasdaq company
- Advised Zura Bio Limited in connection with its agreement to a de-SPAC merger with JATT Acquisition Corp.
- Advised Jefferies, Berenberg and Shore Capital on the AIM IPO of Market Tech Holdings Limited*
- Advised M.P. Evans Group PLC on its successful defence of a takeover offer by Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad*
- Advised US hedge funds on merger arbitrage in UK public takeovers
- Advised Management of Unilabs Holding AB on that company’s auction sale to the A.P. Møller Group
- Advised Treo Asset Management LLC various corporate and restructuring matters as replacement general partner of NOAL SCSP
