David B. Rhee focuses his practice on M&A and corporate matters, advising large, sophisticated institutions operating globally. He specializes in acting for the leading Korean conglomerates and many of the largest Korean financial institutions and asset management companies on a wide range of matters, including cross-border M&A transactions, private equity investments, energy-related investments and litigation.
Prior to joining McDermott, David served as head of the Korea practice at his previous firm.
Represented one of the largest Korean private equity firms in its $400Million oil/gas joint venture transaction in Alberta (the largest proposed Korea-based PE investment in Canada in 2015)*
