Overview


Sanjeet Johal focuses her practice on real estate, covering a wide range of commercial property matters including sales and purchases, landlord and tenant work, property management, acting for utility companies in respect of major infrastructure projects, residential transactions for high net worth individuals and advising on the property aspects of corporate and finance transactions.

Sanjeet has acted for property companies, private investors, funds, developers, health trusts, insolvency practitioners, institutional landlords, occupiers and end users, high net worth individuals and financial institutions.

She has led on the legal and regulatory issues relating to a broad range of assets including business parks, developments, hotels, industrial estates, offices, residential properties, retail space, shopping centers, warehouses and a data center.

Prior to joining McDermott, Sanjeet was a Senior Law Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire, where she headed up property on the LLM Legal Practice Course and taught Property Law to undergraduates on the LLB
