Overview
Shelby T. Perry focuses her practice on restructuring and insolvency. She represents clients in the energy and retail sectors in Chapter 11 proceedings and related adversary proceedings. Shelby’s practice also includes representation of clients in complex civil litigation in both federal and state courts. She has experience arguing motions, drafting appellate briefing, and preparing settlement agreements.
Shelby maintains an active pro bono practice and has volunteered with the Innocence Project and the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program.
During law school, Shelby served as a Notes and Comments Editor of the SMU Law Review Association and was a judicial intern to the Honorable C. Andrew Ten Eyck in the 301st District Court of Dallas County.

- Represented executives of large Texas-based oil and gas company in suit alleging securities fraud, securing dismissal with prejudice and subsequent affirmance by the Fifth Circuit*
