Overview
Stefano Pardini focuses his practice on transactional, corporate and commercial matters, with particular emphasis on M&A, venture capital and private equity deals. He is involved in significant cross-border and domestic transactions, acting for industrial corporations, fast-growth tech companies and financial investors, both international and Italian, in a variety of industry sectors.
Prior to joining McDermott, Stefano worked for top-tier US and UK law firms and has been temporarily seconded as in-house legal counsel in both an investment holding company and a start-up.

- Advised Synergo Capital, on its equity investment as lead investor on a bridge investment round to Series “B” in Codemotion, a multichannel platform that improves the developers’ professional growth by connecting IT professionals, tech communities and companies
- Advised MyMeta, a digital adoption platform developed to adapt to any application and configured to offer support in the adoption of digital tools by users, on its domestication in the USA and investment transaction by BroadVision Group
- Advised Deliveristo, a digital platform that aims to simplify the supply process between restaurateurs and producers, on a bridge investment round to Series “B” by Vertis, backed by Azimut and several business angels
- Advised SilverTree Equity, on the acquisitions of the XTEL Trade Promotion Business, a portfolio company of the Kantar group
- Advised Claris Ventures, on a Series “A” investment round in Heqet Therapeutics, a biotech spin-out from King’s College London active in the field of cardiac regenerative medicine
- Advised Claris Ventures, as lead investor on a Series “A” investment round in Kither Biotech, a biopharmaceutical spin-off company of the University of Turin focused on the development of new therapies for rare respiratory diseases
- Advised G Square Healthcare Private Equity, on the acquisition of a majority stake in Ca’ Zampa, a group offering a full range of pet wellness services
- Advised Fairconnect, on the acquisition of G-Evolution, a company providing captive telematics services to Groupama Assicurazioni, specialising in the analysis of telematics data through the use of advanced AI algorithms and proprietary platform
- Advised Synergo Capital, on a Series “A” investment round of 4Gifters, tech e-commerce company that allows online retailers to improve the customer experience by quickly enabling advanced digital gifting features
- Advised Baker Hughes, on a Series “A” investment round in Nemesys, a start-up specialising in the research and development of innovative technologies for the entire hydrogen value chain, from production to transport, storage and end-use
- Advised Apposite Capital, on the acquisition of a controlling stake in CrestOptics, an Italian company that produces high-end solutions and advanced systems for fluorescence microscopy and diagnostic applications
- Advised Ardian, on the acquisition of Groupe RG, the specialist leader distributor of personal protective equipment in France
