Overview
Dr. Sandra Urban-Crell advises national and international companies in all matters of individual and collective labor law. She has many years of experience not only in providing ongoing employment law advice to human resources and legal departments but also in assisting with corporate transactions, restructurings, outsourcing measures, mass layoffs, secondments, disputes with employee representatives under employment law and collective bargaining law, as well as the design and employment law implementation of variable compensation programs.
In addition, Sandra Urban-Crell advises companies and executives on the conclusion and termination of service and employment contracts with board members, managing directors and employees, including litigation before labor and civil courts.
Sandra Urban-Crell also advises supervisory and managing boards on employment-related compliance issues, often in connection with directors’ and officers’ liability and internal investigations. She further provides advice and delivers training sessions regarding the use of outside staff, particularly in the “grey zone” of legal service agreements and illegal temporary employment.
She is a published author in the area of labor and employment law and speaks frequently at employment-law seminars.

- A leading, listed US clothing manufacturer (transaction volume of approx. EUR 400 million) and a listed Swiss group of companies from the chemical industry (transaction volume of approx. EUR 270 million) on employment law issues in connection with M&A transactions
- A market leader in the real estate industry on all day-to-day labor and employment matters, including litigation (in particular, termination processes) and advice on service contracts of board representatives
- A well-known German retail company with a nationwide branch network on insolvency employment law issues, including the planning and implementation of nationwide restructuring and staff reduction measures in the context of mass layoff proceedings
