Philipp von Ilberg is a counsel in the Frankfurt office of McDermott Will & Emery Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater LLP. He represents public and private issuers, underwriters, placing agents, selling shareholders, trustees and depositaries in equity and debt offerings. His experience includes initial public offerings, private placements, capital increases and rights offerings. In addition, he advises on the structuring and offering of equity-linked products and public takeovers and offers general German corporate and securities law advice to corporate clients.
Philipp also provides legal counsel in cross-border and domestic leveraged and acquisition finance transactions. He principally represents leading global financial institutions and private equity investors. His experience includes senior and mezzanine acquisition and leveraged finance such as bridge facilities, structured financings, real estate financing, corporate acquisitions and disposals, as well as other banking and restructuring matters.
