Alexis Werl regularly represents local and international corporations, high-net-worth and politically visible individuals in complex, multi-jurisdiction matters, with a particular emphasis on white-collar and commercial litigation.
Prior to joining McDermott, Alexis spent eight years in the litigation departments of other US leading international law firms, including one year in New York, and four years as a partner at a boutique litigation firm, which he co-founded with the former Head of the Paris Bar.
In 2007, Alexis was elected a member of the Conférence du Stage, an elite group of 12 young French lawyers chosen each year in a competition for their oral advocacy skills.
Alexis lectured at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris
on important justice issues for several years. He is a regular speaker at the Master of International Business Law program at the Université de Paris Sud.
